now I don't know about yall, but that pass didn't look like a behind the LOS or minimal screen pass to me....
But as Clay would say, since the pass was to a RB, it's considered a dump off.

Alex Smith = WR's suxors!

Pretty good. And those numbers are probably skewed a bit because last week was such a blowout.
Damn good numbers. There is really no reason to bag on AS at this point. Let's see what he does in the playoffs.

Oh and I love that this team is now actually a good screen team, something this team has sucked at since DV left.

Good day, sir.
And on one of those screens, Alex excellent throw gave Charles a big play.

Can go either way, little boy.

I am not satisfied with him getting lucky and scoring a few cheap TD passes on screens. That's not something that can consistently be replicated.
You might as well start the fire Reid thread. This is the guy that tried to get his RB's between 70 and 90 catches a year in Philly. We could have Brady or Manning back there and we'd be trying to get Charles and McCluster out in space.

You sound like you want Alex Smith to be the equivalent of a Tom Brady. That's not going to happen, so i guess you will have to wait a loooong time.

That throw on the one handed catch, have Charles the ability to immediately turn up field. A little high? Sure. But really, it's nit picking.

In the end I don't really care if a screen pass is a little off.

The success of the play depends on the RB and OL, not the QB making a pinpoint throw.
