Did any one those QB's have elite RB's on the team? Rice is a maybe. My point is that I would rather have a good WR or pass rush over a good RB. |

I can see them parting ways with Tamba. He has a huge cap number and mostly disappeared over the last half of the season.

Jamaal averaged exactly 5 YPC this season, which was a "down" year for him in that category, while our backups didn't even average 4 YPC. Add the 19 TDs and 70-ish receptions and you've got, very likely, the most indispensable skill position player in the league.
Plus he's only 27 or something. This next season could be his best yet. We can't trade him. |

Sucks that we gave Bowe that huge contract. I'd hate to let a CB or pass rusher go in this league, but with their cap hits, I wouldn't be mad if we unloaded Flowers and/or Hali somehow..
They're at the point in their careers where the good franchises just let them go; just plug and play. |

I'd unload Hali.

Actually good teams do. It's not that hard to replace a runner in the NFL. Hell the Chiefs are a perfect example of that all the way back to the '90's. Finding good runners that is.

How many Super Bowls did Barry Sanders win? How many has MJD won? Jamaal Charles? Adrian Peterson?
The fact of the matter is just this. It's a team game. You really have to be solid in every phase to win it all. For the most part. I'm sure you know this and I'm not singling you out. I just happened to be responding to your post when I decided to ramble on. |
