30 years old. Retired because of neck injury in 2012. I'll pass unless we want to bring him in on a 1 year deal at veteran minimum.

GB wouldn't clear him medically. That's going to be the issue is any team passing his physical. The risk of a 30 year old with a serious neck problem would look like a lawsuit waiting to happen to most teams I would think

he's 31 in August and his former GM and agent strongly advised him to quit playing. Yeah he would be a cheap risk but I don't know if they could come up with a waiver that would satisfy the NFLPA and any team that signs him in this day of player safety being so much stronger than it has

We'd be better off signing that flamer safety.

Collins in his 8th NFL season, even at the NFL minimum, would be at $855,000.00.
I think on a 1 year deal he would get the minimum salary benefit which would reduce that cap number some. Also this money is not guaranteed. If the doctors and trainers give their approval, it would be a very low $$ risk thing to sign Collins. |

I would believe that Rhodes was blackballed from the league into 2013. Unlike Kluwe, Rhodes put together a fantastic year in 2012.
