You are trying to compare two different types of normativity.

Able-bodiedness and sexuality are not doppelgangers, and they are structured and often enforced differently. It's disanalogous.

Furthermore, normativity is not related to genetics.

Fancy. So, what is your definition of normal?

A cultural construct whose purpose is to shoehorn people into predefined roles that do not fit.

Think of it as a massive high school cafeteria with "normal" being the cool kids table, only no one is actually cool enough to sit there, but most people aspire to do so in order to avoid judgment and ridicule.

In that case, being a cool kid is clearly not the norm.
