It was particularly predictable this year as every single betting favorite won. Good thing to remember for next year if you're a degenerate gambler.

You didn't do anything to back up your connection between Gravity and Apollo 13, but you pointed out that I liked Gravity. That's not enough tickets to buy the beanbag chair, but I suppose you can have one or two miniature Tootsie Rolls instead.

I thought it was the best that I saw from those Best Picture nominees, though I haven't seen Her, Nebraska, or Philomena.

In my opinion it wasn't that good. I did get the Apollo 13 vibe from when I watched it. Yes, Gravity had some better more intense scenes, but both very similar. I thought the acting was cheesy as well, Sandra Bullock was really annoying. It was boring and very predictable. After they fixed an issue another issue came along, just repetitive. I don't know what else to say.

Very much so.

All of the mains turned in amazing performances and even some solid additions from secondary guys like Cumberbatch and Pitt were enjoyed.

The story is really heartbreaking and the ending was just perfect. Excellent closure, in my opinion.

The only movie I've seen of these was Nebraska. Really good. I was hoping Bruce Dern would win.

Can anyone on earth tell why Tyler Perry was introduced with the Dances With Wolves theme underscoring his entrance?

Weirdest things I've ever seen.
