This is a very interesting heat with three good scenes that are quite diverse. I wasn't familiar with all of them before watching.
I could rank any one of these three first. This may be my toughest heat to date to vote on. #1 - Red Violin. I admit it. I nominated this scene. It's probably better in context, but you need the whole movie as context. I'm a fan of violin music. #2 - Jackie Brown. I'm learning that I'm a big Samuel L. Jackson fan. Perhaps I should see Snakes on a Plane. #3 - Cool Hand Luke. I feel terrible ranking this scene third. It's a great scene, but in a strong heat.

Jackie Brown for me.
The next minute or so after that one cuts off would make it better for this tournament. Sam Jackson drives over to a nearby field, opens the trunk, and shoots Chris Tucker. |

Red Violin, whats that?
Newman is great in CHL, but yeah... gotta go Jackie Brown here, probably Tarantinos most underrated movie. |

That kid was like the Eddie Van Halen of violiners. But they weren't even talking American. If I wanted to read, I'd get a book. Or at least a magazine.

The Red Violin is a great movie. And I just remembered that it also stars Samuel L. Jackson. You should check it out.

Cool Hand Luke refuses to go down, and moves on to the next round.
