-- How do you all feel about chili cheeseburgers?
I mean - I really like them. I'm fairly particular with these gems.
I like the chili to be beanless, I'm not sure if It'd cause me to decline the burger if it had beans, just not my preference. Additionally there is no burger out there that I can eat without chopped white onion - or really any raw onion, now this is absolutely required. When I go with the Chili Cheeseburger - I'll add only chopped/raw onions and mustard. That's the combo that works best for those puppies (at least for me) Are there any spots in KC (or where ever you may live)...? Any spots that have exceptional chili cheeseburgers where you are? Do you like the same topping as I do - or would you do a different mix of condiments? Today is my cheat day. I went to a Georgia Fuddruckers-like place on the way home. It is called Cheesebuger Bobby's (picture and URL below) I apologize I couldn't find a Bobby's chili cheeseburger picture. http://www.cheeseburgerbobbys.com/ |

Raw onions give me the runs. Cooked is ok but not raw. My grandpa, my dad, my brother and both of my sons have the same problem. Apparently our family was cursed by a gypsy or something.

Tommy's is good, idk if its and LA chain only.
Btw, is it too much to get chilli fries in addition to the chilli burger, or is it a forgone conclusion to get both |

Five Guys is quite good, but it's not anymore in regards to the constant rising prices. Used to be a huge advocate of them.

I can't stand onions on a burger.
Never had chili on one. Not sure I'd like that or not. Definitely would have to be bean-free. Oklahoma Joe's seasonal chili on a burger would probably be pretty damned good now that I think on it. May have to try that someday. |

What could be easier than sausage gravy? Flop a lb of your favorite sausage in a cast iron skillet and break it up while you brown it. Sprinkle some flour on it. Stir it some more until the flour gets soaked up by the sausage. Pour milk on it, adjusting the quantity to make the consistency right. Cook till it bubbles. Salt, pepper. It's done before you can preheat the oven and bake the biscuits. |
