1. timeline: She was punched Wednesday afternoon. Perp was arrested Thursday morning. By the time OP re-posted this info (from major social networking sites) on Thursday evening all the info was available.

2. As I've consistently stated how I assess the degree of assault (i.e. brutality) is based on outcome. If Rudy T received the same blow and it resulted only in a broken nose, than I wouldnt consider it brutal. On the otherhand if this clerk received the exact same blow that she did and it resulted in similar injuries as Rudy T (shattered jaw and face), than I would consider it brutal.

let me give another example: One person gets in an accident but receives no injures while another person is in the exact same accident and dies. How we judge a minor "fender bender" and a "tragedy" is based on outcome.

that reflects a lot about the character of those individuals along with their emotional intelligence and psychosocial development.

As I've stated before, this is classic transference and its not a healthy way of dealing with situations.
