btw our Dline still didn't do shit
Getting rid of Tyson Jackson was supposed to fix all the problems with the defensive line. We still didn't generate any pressure of get much penetration without sending extra guys.

For some reason, I'm not particularly high on Cyrus Gray. Yeah, he's semi-fast and semi-shifty, but something is just missing for me. Seems like he has zero power. When he gets hit, it seems that he rarely moves the pile. Don't know much about Charcandrick West, but I think I'd rather give him a shot.

Smith doesn't hold the ball more than the average.
The only time he did was in 2012 when the team was winning in the 2nd half. He will hold on and eat a sack if he doesn't see a good target. His O-Lines have typically sucked balls at pass blocking. http://www.footballoutsiders.com/und...sack-deviation 2011 sacks 49ers Anthony Davis 12 2.7 sec Median Sack Time Chilo Rachal 4.5 2.7 sec Median Sack Time Joe Staley 4 2.3 sec Median Sack Time That is not holding the ball. That is crap blocking. Eagles with Vick or Vince Young Winston Justice 5 3.1 sec Median Sack Time Nick Cole 4.5 3.1 sec Median Sack Time Mike McGlynn 3.5 3.7 sec Median Sack Time He holds the ball and makes the O-line look worse. |

Everyone loves to yell about how conservative Smith is but he will throw the ball if someone is open, even if it's only 5 yards. The longer our routes are the bigger the problem our WRs becomes.

It was a fun game to watch, looking forward to the season. The kick return really sparked this team. The winning attitude, we can do this, Reid instills is huge IMO. Big difference from seeing candy wrapper on the stairs, micro manage, flop stick, run a team.

30 to Vernon Davis about 9 to other TEs 4 of 5 playoffs TDs to Vernon Davis 1 year in 2006 he had your prototype #1 WR that plays outside. Antonio Bryant. Michael Crabtree was drafted in 2009. He proved himself to be mediocre outside #1 WR. He is good inside #1 WR. KC needs to find a balance of bending somewhat to what Smith likes to do and Smith needs to bend somewhat to the strengths of the targets on the roster. |

Is Squidwad a former user? I originally thought he was one of the young ladies that came over from the 49ers board during the Smith trade. His start date is OCT 2013, though. So he's either a former member or came aboard the bandwagon when the Chiefs were on the winning streak last year.

Devito and Catapano were out. Poe didn't seem to play for very long. I wouldn't worry about that just yet. |
