Why no Butler or Willy?

Ned, "I played Aoki because I wanted to load up the lineup with lefties because stats show that was the best strategy"

Fair enough, then why didn't you bring in a LHP to force Nava to the side he is hitting .168???

Ned "You can do that?"

Let's see here,

We score 1st, we usually win
We score 4 or more runs, we usually win
We hit a HR, we usually win
We play Dyson, we usually win

Something tells me it just isn't going to be our day!

One of the worst all around teams is taking three of four from us. We are extremely fortunate there are two wildcard spots available with Oakland playing so bad.

Yeah, I think we can stick a fork in the Royals this year. They're done.

Their at bats this inning indicated they've given up and they're completely deflated after the Crow long ball.

So, to recap, losing 3 out of 4 at home to a last place team with nothing to play for. Yeah, they've mentally checked out.

Wouldn't want to see them in the playoffs at this point. They'd get embarrassed.

Oh well, it was a fun season while if lasted. Kept it interesting till the middle of September, so there's that, I guess . . . . . .
