The force does sound excessive. But I don't get this mentality of "**** the police, let's resist". Don't act like a punk, respect authority and you should have zero problems

The most disturbing aspect for me is knowing that the kid may been in cardiac arrest and the cop was standing with one foot on his back as though he were displaying how he defeated an opponent.

I have only read about one. A no knock raid, busted in and he shot one dead. Court agreed with him, not his fault.

It's nearly impossible to use lethal force vs. an officer and not get time...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

The CCW is protection against criminals, but not the police kind. You're right. They have a license to do whatever, whenever. I'd have to except my fate there. I just meant that I'm to the point that I now realize there is no one to protect me, but me.

Cops say "He resisted". Neighbors say the kid was jawing, and telling the cop the window wouldn't roll down. (confirmed true). Cop became incensed and took him from the vehicle on the passenger side as the kid was able to get the passenger side window down.

now a cops son is potentially brain dead.

Seeing as I practice in a rural area and have to go into the office late at times for emergencies, I am in the process of getting my CCW. Don't figure I'll ever need it, but would like to have atleast.

Hamas, what does the large demand and perceived need for CCW's in our current society stem from?
