I think it's just a lot harder to get away with stuff now. Cameras are every where. Forensic science has greatly improved. Everyone has a cellphone. Better security systems. Etc.

If you only have the news on at 6:00 and 11:00, you only hear about shit twice a day. If you live in this society, you have the opportunity to hear about it constantly.

The information was always there, but the ease of your access changed how often you can ingest it. Moreover, it's changed how others ingest it and your ability to communicate with them about it.

Same thing is happening in sports.

I have no doubt Michael Jordan wouldn't be looked upon the same had he played in the age of social media.

That's a gross oversimplification. The problem is not the single parent family in and of itself but that those who are single parents tend to earn less money. Children from single parent families near the median economic levels or higher have the same level of educational achievement as do children from two parent families.

I fully understand we know more than we ever had information wise. Does that compound the negativity since media focuses on the negative? Yea probably.

I have said all along Obama has sold more guns than any president in history. And for no real reason other than the threat of taking the right away.

Fact is people don't trust the media, the govt, or their neighbor. That's not Improvment.
