It is obvious your understanding that these actions are nothing new on a race track. Oh my goodness. There was a car hit on pit road, tempers flared, fists flung. Big ****ing deal. That is racing. Always has been, always will be.

And most of the drivers think he is a jerk? Haven't seen that poll. I can think of 4 or 5 drivers that have an issue with Brad. Gordon, Stewart, Hamlin, Kenseth and Harvick. At one time people hated Darrell Waltrip, until Rusty Wallace came beating on his door. Then Waltrip was a fan favorite and Rusty was not. Same thing happened with Rusty and Gordon. I even remember when Gentleman Bill Elliott was hated. Until he became an old unwinnable driver. Fans are fickle like that. One year they hate a guy, next year they love him. You are watching a changing of the guard. Keselowski is knocking.

Yes there are several good young drivers and the faces will be changing. Strange Bill Elliott was an old unwinnable driver throughout the 80s when he won the most popular driver award several times. I recall it differently but hey you're the 35 year expert. Maybe he should return the race trophies and Winston Cup trophy
