Is Dwayne Bowe the most overrated Chief ever?

I've been a fan since I can remember, which was just over 20 years ago. I know we have seen some overrated QB's here, but none of them were paid like Bowe at his position is and I can't think of another highly touted player who can't do his job in critical moments and has been thought of as quality for so long.

People also associate Bowe as the Chiefs 2nd best WR since Otis Taylor when in reality we haven't had a true #1 WR in how long?

What say you?

It's perception more than reality.

"He's has corn rows"!

"He smokes teh weed"!

"He must be a thug"!

That's my point. Before Bowe, Stephone Paige was the ' 2nd best' WR in franchise history...

Anyone using the '2nd best' argument is invalidated.

One of the problems facing this team has been that most of our best players are team guys. Hali, DJ, Charles, Berry... they're all quiet and reserved and just do their jobs and help out and direct. None of them ever call out the asses of the ****ups and try to get them to play better or at least get on the same page as everyone else.

Looking at pictures like that has brought back a feeling I haven't experienced in over two years. It's the mixture of frustration and hatred that Cassel was so adept at brewing within me.

But this town ****ing loves Alex. Shit, it ****ing loved Matt, too. I want Alex to get utterly embarrassed. I want him roasted by a coach/teammate/local journalist. Preferably all three.

That shit is NOT ****ing okay. You don't get to steal that much money from the team and be that enormous of a bag of dicks and just get away with it without suffering any consequences.

I want some mother****ing justice and I want it right the **** now.

You're saying we don't have a real vocal leader and I agree. At least from what we can tell. We don't have that Ray Lewis type of guy (minus the stabbing people part).

For what it's worth, I think Alex gives a shit. But....I felt Matt Cassel gave a shit too.....

Getting caught was pretty dumb, yes. But I'm just saying, I don't feel the infraction is serious.
