I still don't see the bragging and chest thumping point of these arguments on here...I personally care more about how my team does and not whether or not they made a shit ton of money. But I suppose it should still be noted.

For the record, the Big 12 revenue for the 2013-2014 year was $221M, or 51% of what the SEC was. Didn't see any numbers for this past year yet.

Not to mention the fact that the SEC's payout includes it's third tier money whereas the Big 12's payout is only tiers 1 and 2. Tier 3 earnings for Big 12 schools are on an individual basis. (KU earns something between $7-8 million a year with their IMG/Time Warner Deal)

If the Big 12 is going to distribute "north of $250 million" and then earns $7 million off third tier...

That makes a modest estimate of $32 million.

More than any SEC school.
