Reid has his issues, as do most coaches.

I firmly believe that a QB is what makes great coaches great. A great QB masks a lot of those inefficiencies.

If you gave Reid....say...Aaron Rodgers, everyone would be talking about how amazing Reid is.

Reid has had repeated success. That buys a pass from me till he gets something other than bottom tier QB to work with. He gets one more shot at a retread, 2 tries to draft one.

Alex will be gone. I don't have any doubt about that. He'll be gone long before Reid. In this situation, Alex is the clear scapegoat.

And Reid will get another chance with another QB. And if the Reid/QB combo fail to produce....it'll be Reid's turn to get fired.

If Alex is gone as you say, then he did his job.
Until Alex is gone, he should sit and watch how Chase or Murray does it. (hopefully it is better but not sure how it can be worse.)
