So if the Chiefs are the #6 seed...who would you rather face?

New England will almost assuredly be the #1 seed.

That leaves Denver and Cincy fighting for the #2 and #3 seed.

3 seed plays the 6 seed in the first round...so the Chiefs will visit Denver or Cincy.

Who you want?

Looks like you posted this in two threads, wanted to post the correction here as well.

Chiefs win division on better division record.

Good point. Both teams are 2-1 right now, split the H2H.

Then it goes to common opponents. And, Denver wins... so, KC really needs Denver to lose a game vs Chargers (2 remaining) or vs OAK in Denver, if they are to finish 3-3.

NFC North - Denver was 4-0, while KC was 1-3

PIT (KC won) (DEN TBD)
CIN (KC lost (DEN TBD)

Bengals.

Dalton sucks in Prime Time and under pressure. I don't want to face Denver's defense in the playoffs.

Both teams sport lethal defenses with QBs who can be confused and shut down.

I'll take either. It's probably a wash.

Dalton's a far more dangerous QB than Asswailer at this point.

I honestly think if we draw Denver we'll beat the shit out of them.

I am not so sure.

I agree on the QB front, but they'll have Demarcus Ware and Aqib Talib back.

In order to beat Denver, the Chiefs would have to rely on their offense to score points. I don't see that happening.

Our offense has a much better shot against Cincy than Denver.

Bengals are a bit overrated on defense. No real rite pass rusher, just a few above average guys. Their secondary is overrated IMO.

Dalton shits his pants too, so we'll see if that changes. Still a very talented team that looks like they will win at least 1 playoff game at this point.

For the first time in a long long time, there isn't a huge force in the AFC. The even the Pats aren't what they were with their injuries

Denver has no running game and a QB with one game of experience.

The Bengals have a ton of playmakers and their QB is having the best year of his career...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

All true and it was just one game, but it looked good. Sure, the Bears are bad and they were without weapons... but, the Broncos' offense looked nice. Let's see what they do this week.

I was watching the 'First Take' with Skip and Stephen A from yesterday... funny stuff. Skip is a nut, just like he was with Tebow. They were both so sad for Peyton and how this looks like Denver pushing him out the door like Indy did. Well, it is what it is ... if Brock fails, then Manning is back if healthy. At least it's good drama for those guys.

That's so stupid.

If anything Den allowed him to start too long. Manning should have retired at the end of last year...

Yeah, with that TD/INT ratio... 95% of other QBs would have been benched. This was done out of necessity, and after one game - it's ok.

Brock realizes this isn't his team yet - win against NE and play well, then he's really forcing their hand. Best case scenario, he plays well and Manning gets healthy and gives them some things to consider for the playoff run.

Brock didn't look stupid and he was fairly calm... yes, he had some off plays and took 5 sacks. That's going to happen in your first start on the road, taking over for a legend with a 7-2 record. He passed test #1, big one this week.

Hell, if anything... this sets up well for Manning. Get healthy, take a month plus off... come in healthy on your white horse and win a title. (very likely NOT happening, but it's out there if things fall the right way). The NFL is a game of attrition.
