You have no idea why they sucked shit in 2015 apparently if you think the formations were the problem. If they filled actual need, with a player to keep Luck alive, than their formations just might of worked! Nothing works with a dead QB.

The Chiefs don't have a hole at Tight End and at no point in this round will Hunter Henry be BPA. This whole banter has been pointless.
The Colts sucked shit because their head coach is terrible and their front office is terrible. Let's not move the uprights. If anything, having two tight ends and refusing to use them when you have protection problems is idiotic. Both TEs can become extra blockers and also be a huge boost to the run game (which sucked) in ways WRs can't. And if you have pass pro problems, then the Colts need to implement more short passing game, bubble screens, etc... which is great use of two TE sets. They didn't and stubbornly stuck with the big play offense.

The Colts went balls to the wall to find WRs. They have Hilton and drafted Moncrief and Dorsett very early. They paid a shitload for Andre Johnson. If anything, the Colts should have relied on their TEs a hell of a lot more.

There are lots of teams with an excellent pair of TEs. Most #2 TEs are 200-400 yard receivers. And much as I'd love for Alex Smith to be a vertical QB, he is probably going to be more effective with 2 TEs than with 3 WRs. We have a terrible red zone and 3rd down offense and always have and TEs can fix that. We have limited flexibility to run 3 TE sets which is a luxury, but it adds to your playbook. It's not a huge need, but the Chiefs would benefit big time from quality #2 TE play and there's no lock on the guys we have. While we don't need two superstars at TE, we know we have a coach and a QB who can make it work.

I'm not moving the uprights. You're ****ing nuts.

The Colts coach is mediocre. The Colts GM is a literal ****ing idiot, which is why they sucked.

They had a tire fire on the OLine, and took a ****ing WR early because who the **** knows why. The line talent was shit and every QB that played behind it got tore the **** up. You can put whatever alignment out you desire and it doesn't ****ing matter if your qb is legally murdered.

If they gave a **** about need, maybe they wouldn't of killed every QB. Throw out all the ****ing tight ends you want I guess.

I'm not saying multi TE sets are Hitler, but shit they've already got 3 that they like and don't have a set number 2 corner or a LG. Why the **** would you prioritize a TE?

They wouldn't prioritize a TE. If a very good TE is BPA you take him... period. Our TE situation outside of Kelce is okay at absolute best. We have a blocker in Harris who is constantly injured and is mostly unnecessary as a receiver. And a guy in O'Shaughnessy who is still an unknown even if they like him.

Good coaches know how to use the talent they have. The Colts have no idea how to bring in talent, but their coaches couldn't have done a shittier job using what they had. Again, if they had pass pro issues and their run game sucked, why the **** would you use your TEs less as extra pass/run blockers? Why would you refuse to use your TEs in a quick passing/screen game in favor of an aerial offense? Because that's what they did and that's why Pep Hamilton got shitcanned. The Chiefs don't need TEs. But Reid is a good enough coach to know how to make it work.
