I just read on kcchiefs.com that Kimble had a great week of practice and Gun told him as soon as he did that he'd get on the field. Perhaps, there just weren't enough carries to go around. I was really happy for Kimble, he's one of my favorite old times. Speaking of old timers the mic on Grundy was awesome...especially the singing!

I enjoyed the entire evening.
I'm still suspicious about Moreau's absence, though. Luz kimble looked good in clean up... |

Moreau did get into the game a couple of times, but he was strictly a blocking back when he did.

Moreau had no carries or receptions.
I think 46 wad on the field for the Alexander's 73 yard catch if I'm not mistaken. ------------------ CHIEFS [This message has been edited by Best-in-West (edited 10-03-2000).] |

IMHO what we saw tonight should somewhat clear the RB situation. If I were calling the shots, I'd START Kimble at HB WITH Richardson at FB. Mike Cloud would be the 3rd down/change of pace back. Bennett would be backup full back and Moreau would be the 2nd team HB. That way we could bring him around as the season unfolds. Just my opinion, but I would definately give Kimble the majority of the carries at HB!
