Maybe they all stick with ST and nickel and dime packages depth can be a good thing at CB and DB. I think Barry/Peters can set the standard that these guys feed off of.

Maybe he does now or if they can get him too, it will probably be a good choice. Harder to get someone to care when they start getting a paycheck, so we'll see. |

Sometimes it feels like Dorsey's strategy is to tread water in the draft. In every draft they target perceived needs for the following year, especially with high picks, which really isn't much different than targeting needs for the current year.
It's a high floor, low ceiling approach, and they don't seem to extract a lot of value from it.

Fisher, Kelce, Morse, Conley, O'Shaugnessy, Ford, Gaines, Peters and even DAT were all high ceiling guys, none of which were already maxed out. This is a ridiculously talented roster, which will only grow more talented in 2017 & 2018 when Dorsey can really spread his wings and use the draft to get potential megastars in the 1st round because of the competition and depth on the roster. |

How the **** is Dorsey's approach high floor/low ceiling when he's taking guys with high ceilings at just about every pick? With the draft he had last year, this is such a ridiculous statement. Guys like you and DJLN think you're way smarter than you are. You aren't idiots, but you're arrogant and borderline ignorant sometimes. |

IMO this is what we've got:
Jones will rotate a lot, especially in the nickel. Russell will either start day one or slowly move into the role. My guess is day 1 starter. Ehinger will start at G. Murray will rotate as an outside CB. Robinson will most likely be ST's and maybe a little work at WR. Hill will start as the returner. DJ White will probably be ST's and maybe some slot work.

I think Hamas is calling the approach of replacing potential high cost free agents with previous picks a high floor low ceiling approach.
Doing it that way doesn't really extract full value out of your roster |
