Things that annoy you about the general public

I will start.

How about people who argue with a base level employee about a policy? The receptionist didn't make the policy. She can't let you in without an appointment. She isn't going to risk her job just because you're an idiot and can't follow the policy like everyone else, or because you think you're special and policies don't apply to you. Becoming irate is not going to increase your chances, either.

I ****ING HATE it when people have TONS of SHIT in their shopping cart and then go to the EXPRESS lane to check out. KNOWING FULL WELL that they DONT BELONG THERE! They go there because they don't want to wait in long lines and in the process they cause ****ING LONG LINES for those with very few items in the express lanes.

I've always wanted to count up all the items in their cart and once I determine that number, just start shouting the number once every 5 seconds. once they ask me what I'm doing I'll just let them know that's how many items they have in their cart, in case they were wondering since they're obviously clueless.

or, start shouting out a number each time an item is scanned by the cashier.
"1.....2,.....3..............................37!......38!.....39!"

then at the end, go up and raise my hand like I'm waiting for a high five from them, and as they raise their hand to meet mine, I take mine away, and call them a moron and return to my cart.

I absolutely hate how slow people are in the following situations:

1) Driving, especially reacting/accelerating when a stop light turns green.
2) Boarding/departing an airplane.
3) Completing a purchase transaction at a convenience type retail store such as CVS (i.e. using 500 coupons to pay for an $11 transaction).

There needs to be a special place in hell for people who insist on driving/paying/walking/boarding slow.

This happened to me yesterday, ironically, but sadly it's happened more than once.

I was returning for lunch back to my office, it's a 3 floor building. The elevator door was opening as I was in the lobby so I decided to take the elevator. A woman was in the elevator and she started to walk out, stopped, looked at the floor display inside, then backed up and waved me to come in. I look at her oddly, because this elevator aint going down any further.

As I walk in, she starts pressing the ground floor button multiple times...I had to explain to her that she was on the ground floor.

I can see getting lost or confused between the lobby/basement, etc...but this is ridiculous on a 3 floor building where only employees are allowed via key card entry. I have been asked before 'is this the first floor?' at least two other times in the last few years. Im amazed those people are able to find their way home or remember where they parked their car.

Also the people who refuse to turn left on a yellow light, especially in busy intersections without green arrows. These mental giants fail to realize the only way you are going to turn left is on a yellow light.

If you go to Costco in Lenexa after, say, 11:00am on a weekend......may god have mercy on your soul.
My blood pressure goes through the roof when I go to Costco. You have the sample crowds, the idiot families that walk four abreast slowly up an aisle, the battle royale at the front door where people are trying to get carts around the line to get in (usually held up because some moron is digging out their card) and the cluster**** at the exit where people are trying to line up to get their receipts checked in the middle of lines of people waiting at the food court. Some of those might be just mine as it is a pretty small Costco.

I have been known to chime in when that happens. If they are a few items over I couldn't care less. On the other hand if some slippery hump (AKA heaping cart guy) rolls up into the 10 items or less lane with a full cart, I'll generally loudly pipe up with, "apparently math isn't your strong suit is it?"
