It'll be interesting to see if Bill/Matt has as much of a problem as Andy/Bob did with figuring out how to defend it. I'll bet one of the Pat's goes over the top at least once if the traditional "hit him while he's stopped and all but standing there" method fails. And if that scheme requires the O-line to hold in order to open a hole (if...), I'll bet they get into an official's grill very early.

And I have no doubt that if that scheme is working, when they get him stood up, they'll sweep the legs and give him a little something extra to process on any ensuing attempts. IOW, I don't think the Pats will miss how dirty the Steelers are from the last few games they've played, and I don't think they'll dismiss it and not respond in kind.
I bet the Steelers have at least three holding penalties when they play the Patriots. The league won't make the Patriots fight through that.

I suspect not. They take care of business with the officials before the game is over... And they sure as hell don't suffer the Kelce effect.

What a coincidence that both pass rushers for the Steelers try to get into the body of the tackles and suddenly just fall down.

They were milking it and got the call. Bullshit call when it has zero effect on the biggest play of the game.

I'm glad Kelce spoke up

Fisher should have just pushed him past Smith.

I think we should petition the NFL to at least give us a Participation Trophy because those mean old refs made a few bad calls against us.

God forbid we hold our own team accountable, accept the fact that we played like total shit again at home in the playoffs, and that we absolutely did not in any way deserve to win the game. If the Steelers hadn't shit the bed over and over in the red zone they would've dropped 40 points on us. Just be thankful we didn't get completely humiliated, then sit back and enjoy watching 2 legitimate Super Bowl contending teams play in the AFC championship game. Nobody but us Chiefs fans wanted anything to do with watching this boring ass team piss down their legs against NE.

Reality is that the Chiefs are a team that--aside from injuries--played with a horseshoe firmly implanted up their asses the entire year. Last night the luck ran out, and it had way, way more to do with the Chiefs lack of ability than it did with the refs screwing us.

Because sadly our best pass rusher can stop the run and do pass coverage better than any of our ILBs.

Agree on accountability. Disagree on "luck."

We were a legitimately excellent team. Our defense can only pull so many magic tricks when they're missing 5 starters. Our offense isn't bad -- they dominated in December. They just completely shit the bed from the gameplanning to the QB to the WRs and ultimately the OL.

If we're healthy on defense, we were the better of the two teams. If we don't make all the boneheaded mistakes on offense, we could have won anyway. But with DJ out, we needed the offense to carry the team, and they didn't.
