The little bastards have been trying to take over my kitchen counter for months now, at first I figured 'meh, I never leave anything at all on the counter, its always wiped clean so they'll figure that out and go away soon'

But here it is months later and they keep showing up hoping I'll screw up, so I have recently taken great delight in wiping them up with a paper towel soaked in scalding hot water, then rinsing them off it in more scalding hot water

I tried to be nice at first, but they've pushed me too far

I appreciate the effort to help me out, but my house is circa 1870 or so... its just about impossible to figure out all the different places they could be coming in

If it keeps up, I'll probably just buy a few of those little poison discs and stick'em behind the microwave
