RIP John Hillerman
RIP Higgins.
one of my favorite TV characters. John Hillerman, the actor who made a career out of playing snooty types, including Tom Selleck’s fastidious estate caretaker Jonathan Quayle Higgins III on Magnum, P.I., died Thursday. He was 84. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/...230644411.html |

I don't think it was ever confirmed. I think his character mentioned to Magnum once towards the end that he was Robin Masters, but I think later his character back tracked on that.
I always thought he was; but, I dont think the show ever officially said it?

One of my all time favorite movies, Chinatown, he played 'Yelburton' the assistant water commissioner. That's him on the left talking to Jack Nicholson. If you love film noir dramas and haven't seen Chinatown, do yourself a favor, I've seen it so many times I've lost track.
