How do we end the Regular Season?

What will be our W/L record at the end of the regular season; barring a tie?

Poll forthcoming.

I think it's kinda sad how many of you will be let down with a 10-6 finish. If you had told me before the season we were 6-4 at this point after playing that schedule, I'd be pretty excited. There's obviously a lot of path dependency at work here, but it's your own fault for thinking the Chiefs were Super Bowl material in week 5 and not just every other Chiefs team we've seen. This is the Chiefs being the Chiefs. Most here thought this was a quasi-rebuilding-pre-Mahomes year anyway. So prepare for some glimmer of hope toward the end of this season that leads you to maybe, just maybe, think we might be able to beat Pittsburgh or New England, and then just prepare for the inevitable. I'm at peace with this because I expected nothing different this year.

I didn't think we'd finish the first 6 games with a winning record.

If you had told me we'd be 5-0 there's no excuse for being 10-6. If you can go 5-0 with our schedule you're good enough to beat sub .500 teams. Or should be.

We have gone from being considered perhaps the best team in the league to losing to perhaps the worst team in the league.

Good teams don't do that...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

And in 2015, we started as one of the worst teams in the league record-wise and then ended as one of the best/better teams, all after losing our star RB. Now - just like then - we're somewhere in between.

I think currently they are holding this team back from greatness the longer they don't start Patrick Mahomes II.
Ah, come on now, go anyway!

I think the excitement around our very own drafted QBOTF is pretty universal.

I watched the Chargers on Thanksgiving day and they looked pretty strong. Rivers looked rejuvenated. Their defense was bringing it similar to what we had hoped the Chiefs D would be like

How did that season end?...

I watched it too. They look like the best team in the West right now by far. If they do come to Arrowhead and beat us, we have no margin for error in any of the rest of the games.

Admit it - you don't actually watch the games...
