I would interpret this exercise as players only.
Need at least two from the Super Bowl team. That one is easy. Dawson and Bell. After that, I'd only go with truly transcendent players of their time. The ones with longevity, busts in Canton, and guys who are top 5 mentions at their position from ANY football fan. Tony Gonzalez is one of those players. After that, I don't know if Derrick Thomas quite has the all-time greatness cred. Is he Top 5 for LBs? Yes, he was so unique at what he did, but it would be tough to say. If I'm feeling stingy, I'd go with Buck Buchanan over DT. If not, I'd put in DT over Buck. Tough call.
