Soooooo... Dorsey is a butt****ing moron, right?

All these CBs available at the top of the 2nd round.

The 33rd and 35th overall picks.

He takes Denzel Ward at #4 overall.

Nice ****ing job, you prick. Oh, and by the way, YOU DRAFTED BAKER MAYFIELD #1 OVERALL YOU CHOAD.

I'm beginning to think Eric Fisher wasn't just "There wasn't anybody good!" It was just Dorsey trying to be smarter than everybody else.

Haven't seen Veach make any draft picks yet, but knocking on wood, he's gotta be better than Dorsey, right?

That=bad.

And it will suck more if Denver comes away with James Daniels or Will Hernandez today.

There is no such thing as a superior, or even good NFL GM. It's a field where reversion to the mean is the norm not the exception. Remember when A.J. Smith was being crowned king? Or Ozzie Newsome? Or Bill Polian? Dorsey's fall from grace was expected. Guys get lucky once or twice and start thinking they know things others don't and quickly bite themselves in the ass. Look at the saints draft last year and look at the shit they pulled yesterday. If a team wanted to hire a GM they would do best to hire someone with a long track record of decency that has recently been on a cold streak, so the likely reversion is up not down, not someone like Dorsey purported to be "the chosen one".

I don't get the John Dorsey hate. He took your squad from a basement dweller to a team that has some really good talent and a really good coach.

In a lot of ways, I think baker and tyrod are similar qbs. I wouldn't be surprised if haley approaches Mayfield and tyrod the same way he did big Ben. Make them stop improvising, simplify the reads, force them to get rid of the ball faster. It's an interesting idea to give haley two of these guys. I don't know that rosen and darnold are as good a fit for haley. They'd be pocket qbs in a boring offense. Mayfield and tyrod, on the other hand, haley can groom to be better

But they already potentially had that in Shane Ray. I know we bag on KnowMo about him, but Ray still has a lot of upside as a pass rusher.

We have a weird obsession with hating people after they leave. I never did and still don't get the hate for haley either.

Chiefs fans for you. And he gave them, in a big move trading up, Mahomes whom they absolutely love but they won't even give him credit for that and say it was all Veach and Reid.

I believe Dorsey is a very good GM despite his faults with cap management and contracts.

Some fans and analysts were talking of the Chiefs as the best top to bottom roster in the league not too long ago when Dorsey was still in charge. You think that was all Reid and Veach, yeah right.

You could read that into it, sure... I think it's flawed thinking, IMO. Chubb will be a solid addition to that defense.

I agree. So far I'm happy with veach. But after years of complaining about the Chiefs obsession with linemen and running backs, we got a a guy who took a ton of first round risks. Fingers crossed... I think in veach we have a guy who believes in positional value and can manage the cap, unlike Dorsey. But I'll gladly take a risk taker over ten more years of Marty ball

Dorsey sucked ass. The turn around was on Andy Reid. We had solid talent before they got to town.
