Favorite Movies in the MCU
I mentioned this in the other thread, but the wife and I are just wrapping up a full rewatch of all of the MCU movies. It seems like BRC's question about my favorite movies might make for a good poll and discussion, so here it is.
What are your favorite MCU movies? For the sake of the poll, we'll make it top five. |

Yeah, I wouldn't say there is one on the entire list that I would call "bad." Hulk was a bit underwhelming, and I personally find Captain America to be a weaker character for my taste, but I'd re-watch them all sometime without hesitation.

Haven't seen Infinity war, but voted for 5 from the others, of which I have seen them all.
Winter Soldier Guardians 1 Ragnarok Avengers 1 Iron Man 1 Infinity War may move into the top 5. We shall see. |

Captain America : The Winter Soldier is hands down my favorite. Mainly because of the awesome cast / cool plot that plays out more like a political thriller/action film.
Plus, the scene where Redford kills his housekeeper is so damn cold blooded & awesome that I laugh every time I see it. |

ChiefsPlanet has spoken. These really break out pretty well.
Hits: Guardians of the Galaxy (the uncontested overall favorite) Avengers: Infinity War Captain America: The Winter Soldier Iron Man Thor: Ragnarok Solid Flicks: The Avengers Ant-Man Doctor Strange Captain America: The First Avenger Black Panther Decent, but Niche: Captain America: Civil War Spider-Man: Homecoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Meh: The Incredible Hulk Iron Man 2 Iron Man 3 Thor Thor: The Dark World Avengers: Age of Ultron |

I’ll go with the ‘renegade’ MCU film: The Incredible Hulk

Iron Man is easily the best IMO. It’s the only MCU movie that can compete with The Dark Knight.
1. Iron Man 2. Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Captain America: The Winter Soldier 4. The Avengers 5. Thor: Ragnorak Worst ones are The Incredible Hulk and Thor: The Dark World. Most underrated is Doctor Strange.

Biggest let down was Ultron. They neutered the hell out of that character.

1 Winter Soldier - It's just a great movie with a lot of action, and some death
2 Ant Man - It's really good, and really funny 3 Ragnorak - It just worked well, and was hilarious 4 The Avengers - It was just so well done 5 Strange - It is eerily similar to Iron Man, but Iron Man has become outdated 6 Captain America - I've grown to like this after not liking it for so long 7 Age of Ultron - I'm not a comic book guy and so that helps to not have issues 8 Guardians of the Galaxy - It works, but I'm not as into it as every other fan 9 Iron Man - Was really good when it came out. I don't feel it's aged well 10 Infinity War - I really need to see this again to put it into better perspective 11 Black Panther - It's just another Marvel origin film 12 Civil War - I just felt that this was such a let down. Needed to suffer losses 13 Iron Man 2 - I was disappointed when it came out, but it's okay now 14 Hulk - I finally watched this recently, and it wasn't as bad I thought it'd be 15 The rest are tied I still need to watch Guardians V2 and Homecoming |

I loved Iron Man 1&2 and Guardians 1&2. The first Avengers and Ant Man were fun. Didn't care at all for any of the Captain America or Thor movies. Haven't seen Black Panther or Doctor Strange. Couldn't finish Spider-Man Homecoming. Wasn't that interested. I've kinda lost interest in comic book movies the past couple years.
