Often in the NFL, if not the vast majority of the time, every stage of success comes a step at a time.
Not long ago we dreamed of just getting into the playoffs, as a Wild Card. Then it was winning the AFC-W. Then a playoff win. Then "get to the AFCCG." Now we're at the "win the AFCCG" level. The next step logically would be "get to the SB." And then finally "win the Super Bowl." So, speaking rationally, I can't say I'd be disappointed if the Chiefs didn't WIN the Super Bowl this year. Because we still have to win the AFCCG, then get to the SB, then win it. But my gut tells me the door is practically wide open this year, and if we can win the AFCCG, we will win the Super Bowl. |
