Headed down to a familiar location for the Florida heat and a highly formidable opponent.

The Dolphins have a great defense, a mediocre at best offense. Not all that different from Denver really, but coached better.

A win would clinch the AFCW for the 5th straight season, so there is some added importance. Of course we are on Pittsburgh’s heels, too.

I think we all aren’t totally sure what to make of the team at this point. They’ve been inconsistent in their focus, their execution. There seem to be problem areas that could be upgraded by simply plugging a backup in (hi, Wis), but it remains to be seen if any changes are going to be made.

It’s a weird league where outcomes are all over the place, winning is really damn hard, but they’re still 11-1 and largely look to be on cruise control half the time. I do think there’s something to be said for the GS Warriors comparison where sometimes they just don’t flip the switch until they have to. I guess we will see what happens as the games get bigger and bigger for this team.

This one won’t be easy, but if the offense comes out locked in from the go, it shouldn’t be a scare. I also think it’s another opportunity for the defense to perform well again, but I still feel like we need more from our pass rush along the DL moving forward.

Game is at noon on CBS...

That's one thing I love about the Pat Mahomes era.....they buck all the bad trends!

~Hadn't won in Pit since mid-80s...no problem!
~Hadn't won a home playoff game since 1994....no problem!
~Hadn't been to a Super Bowl (or won a SB) in 50 years...no problem!

This will be just another "first" that Pat can put on the resume!

I vaguely remember that undefeated '85 Bears team rolling into Miami late in the season and giving the Bears their only defeat that year....couldn't tell you a single detail other than they won the game, but I remember I watched it. Lots of pride in those Miami folks to preserve that perfect season.....I'd say that is more important to them than winning a Super Bowl it seems (which is odd to me, since (a) nobody gives a crap about 1972 anymore; and (b) Does anyone really think there aren't about two dozen teams since that point that wouldn't run those Dolphins out of the stadium all else equal? and (3), The 1920 Akron Pros, 1922 and 1923 Canton Bulldogs were also undefeated (but with ties)....are we supposed to bow to them as well?) It's all very strange to me lol....

Our defense in general takes a massive hit. Hopefully it’s nothing serious at all, he did practice at least.

No worries m8, the fins cannot run the ball at all... and Tua is certainly not capable of passing them into a win at this stage

Their defense will cause some ugly drives no doubt, but this one has the air of inevitability
