Has anyone ever traveled on Greyhound before?
My job wants me to travel and I was thinking of taking greyhound as I'm not a big fan of flying. How awful is it?

I've driven from Denver to various parts of Minnesota a couple of times in the past year. I don't mind driving if I go for no more than maybe 5 or 6 hours in a day. But that drive is also really easy since you end up on a lot of small roads through Nebraska that have no traffic.

I used to have customers in Sioux Falls and Rapid City. I had to drive because flying from Des Moines to Rapid City was mega-expensive and complicated.

It was 5 hours from my house to Sioux Falls and another 5 hours from there to Rapid City. I put 150K miles on my car in just under 2 years.

An 8-hour drive isn't bad at all.

That's about my limit. Used to drive from KC to Chicago with a stop in Des Moines along the way, which would put it around an 8 hour drive.

That was about the longest I could stand driving in a single day.
