I had a bunch of business in Shreveport about 8-10 years ago. It was an absolute pain in the ass (and expensive) to fly from Wichita to Shreveport. So, I started driving there (about 8 hours). After doing that for a while, I then decided that 8 hours was the max that I would drive to any location. After 8 hours in the car and killing a day, I'm kinda wiped out. The one nice thing is that I got a lot of work done on the phone with all that windshield time.

You can def do an 8-hour drive, Billay, unless you have back/leg issues that are uncomfortable to deal with in a car.

I used to have customers in Sioux Falls and Rapid City. I had to drive because flying from Des Moines to Rapid City was mega-expensive and complicated.

It was 5 hours from my house to Sioux Falls and another 5 hours from there to Rapid City. I put 150K miles on my car in just under 2 years.

An 8-hour drive isn't bad at all.
