You can def do an 8-hour drive, Billay, unless you have back/leg issues that are uncomfortable to deal with in a car.

I used to have customers in Sioux Falls and Rapid City. I had to drive because flying from Des Moines to Rapid City was mega-expensive and complicated.
It was 5 hours from my house to Sioux Falls and another 5 hours from there to Rapid City. I put 150K miles on my car in just under 2 years.
An 8-hour drive isn't bad at all.
