Week 12 WR snap counts

Watson 64 snaps (84%) 2 targets 2 receptions 26 yards - Once again the he's the skill position player with the most snaps and once again he produced as if he played 20 snaps.)

MVS 44 snaps (58%) 5 targets 4 receptions 56 yards - I think this is about the perfect amount of playing time. He had a dropped pass that hit him right in the hands and even though it was a bullet he definitely should have caught it.

Skyy Moore 35 snaps (46%) 6 targets 5 receptions 36 yards - This dude shouldn't be anywhere near a punt return. I thought he should be getting more opportunities on offense than what he is getting. Had a big gain that turned into a 4 yard gain because of a pretty shitty holding call against Watson.

JJSS 29 snaps (38%) 3 targets 3 receptions 38 yards - Limited snaps because of prior concussion. Played as well as you'd expect and will probably be the lead WR again next week.

Powell 2 snaps (3%) Nothing

Another subpar performance from CP's favorite JAG Justin Watson. In the last 3 weeks Watson has played in 167 snaps out of a possible 204 snaps (82%). These are his stats from that time frame.

7 targets 6 receptions 107 yards and 0 TDs

If you take away the reception that took us to halftime against the Chargers then he looks even more like a JAG.

6 targets 5 receptions and 76 yards

Skyy Moore should be getting some of those snaps and in no way is Watson's production acceptable.

I'm ready for you all to tell me I'm an idiot and how I'm being a bitch after we just won. Eventually some of you will see the light.

I would guess that Watson getting so much PT is nothing more than a matter of circumstance. If JJSS, MVS, Moore and Toney were all fully healthy at the same time, I'm sure he'd barely be seeing the field. They have to adjust their game plan based on the personnel available to them.

We go over this ad nauseam with Reid and his decisions to play certain guys, and it can be frustrating. However, since the dude hasn't had a losing season in 10 years since joining the organization and farts out more football knowledge after a questionable burrito than everyone on this board has in their brains combined, we'll just have to trust him to play the guys he thinks give him the best chance to win.

I’m enjoying it for now but we all need to understand that Watson and Moore will both have their snap count reduced significantly when Juju, Hardman and Toney are all back healthy.

MVS, Juju, Hardman and Toney are the top 4 WR’s. Add Kelce, the other 2 TE’s and RB passes and damn.

But I do hope Skyy is out there on plays that Juju and Hardman get breathers. It’s easy to see how much potential that kid has.

I just looked it up. Skyy Moore returned exactly one punt for his college football days at Western Michigan. I don't even blame Skyy Moore but this is on Toube.

At this point having him return punts would be like putting Steve Sax on the mound.

Dumb thread, once again.
Yes, any thread with any criticism is dumb. This forum should be a community of homers and every one should just agree with every one else and never ask questions in regards to the decisions our team makes.

Why do you think Demarcus Robinson got so much playing time last year? Was it because behind the scenes Patrick told Andy that he liked to laugh in the film room when Robinson would run backwards and lose yards?

I don't see the issue with Watson in there, with Hardman on IR, Toney injured again, and for whatever dumbass reason, someone decided that we're babying Juju after an either or injury. You're either 100% good to go after a concussion, or you aren't, and if you aren't, you don't play football, period.

Stonehand Scantling is just as likely to drop the ball as catch it, Kelce is the go to anyway, and Skyy is a rookie in a Reid system.

Who do we have that's better? Fountain? Powell? You'll see the 3te looks before you see those jags.
I actually found something that you and I agree on. I thought that JJSS would come out and play as much as he had in previous weeks. Limiting his snap count doesn't make much sense because if Andy thought that playing him too much would get him concussed again, then he shouldn't have been playing at all.

Andy said post-game that he was supposed to be more involved, but wasn't, and that it was his responsibility to get him out there. Said he did a better job in the second half with some plays for him.

So Andy taking the blame on it whether it being his fault was the case or not.

We’re 9-2. I’m not going to complain about WR snap counts.

My complaining will be saved for questioning why we keep trying Skyy at punt returner.

Special teams is the only phase that’s not living up to their end of the deal.

Well, the Skyy Moore experiment is officially over.

I am not complaining.

Thinking Justin Watson is getting too many snaps is not complaining. This is a football discussion board, after all.

We let Direckshun post here, this should be fair game.

Well, obviously Moore will be getting more snaps on offense now that we know he's being pulled off special teams. That's a good thing.

But Andy and Eric like Watson's size and skillset and his role in the offense, so I assume that's why he continues to get a high amount of snaps. We may not always see everything they see, but here's what I know.

We are #1 in the NFL in scoring. We are #1 in the NFL in Offense (ypg). We are the #1 passing offense in the NFL (again, ypg). Hell, we're even #19 in rushing offense despite our reluctance to run the ball. These are all good things. These rankings are all better than last year. In addition, they are the best in the NFL this year.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/stats/team

So with all that said, I'll defer to Andy and his coaches on the use of WR's in this new offense and the snap counts they are getting and assume they know what they are doing.
