The component parts of RAS are interesting. The 'score' that it creates is just absolutely asinine.

RAS is just an index, it's not meant to be predictive of success. All it tells you is approximately how a player's measured size and athleticism compares to other players at their position. The scores lack context, sure, but that's the nature of what it is. I don't think it's fair to compare it to PFF, which ultimately boils down to some anonymous dipshit's subjective grading of game tape.
