I would agree. There were too many dropped passes today.
But those last two overthrows really bite... |

Actually I'm proud of the team... We proved we can score even thought they are expecting the pass. This RBBC has to go. stick with Cloud for christ sakes... Anyone but that RBBC... Put vanover back there.
GrBac IS A LEADER. HE has lead the way. only 1 bad play. the pick... and his arm was hit then. DA has been dropping passes all preseason and throught this game. Slymo is the real deal. Overall this is a great game to see where we really are. Don't be surprised for a Tenn upset next week. I feel that once we get that 1st win... it will be contageous. Chiefs looked good! Of course you're gonna have your super critical people that only will point out the negatives... Only negative I saw was that damn J.R. please get an O.C. in here quick. I'm begging. |

I just started listening to the game after the fourth quarter. It doesn't really sound as if they played horrible. Just a little un-refined. Too many dropped passes. Len Dawson said the one to Morris in the end-zone should have been caught. But he also mentioned the punt return that Parker had but was called back because of a penalty was big too, this was when the score was tied at 14. I don't really think this team won't be too bad.
0-1, but optimistic....
|

I agree it wasn't all Grbac's fault but the pick was thrown when we were only trailing by 3. Then Wham!, down by 10. We need more from our field leader. If all his decent passes were caught the score wouldv'e looked much better.
What was with the Arrowhead loser fans booing on the third play? Totally classless. I was totally embarrassed by them today. AZ |

It may not be totally his fault, but Grbac was not great by any means. How many times is he going to throw behind the receiver? It isa true, however, that when he did make a good pass the receivers dropped it. I think over all they played better than everyone expected them to. It is early. I believe it may be an alright season.

I liked what I saw, EG played a good game.
The D and the recivers need to pick it up a little bit. I still see a 11-5 record for this team. They did not lay down.
|

Observations on 2000 Chiefs
NEGATIVES -Jimmy Raye should have another brain transplant. The Frankenstein specimen isn't working -WR's should change their names to stonehands(insert the route they run to identify them) -Grbac can't read a NFL secondary -Feature RB needed (hoping on Moreau if not draft a big time RB) POSITIVES - Edwards and defense looked good(for how many snaps they took on the field with the inept offensive showing) - Consistency needed in special teams area but better than last year - TR looked adequate but not great
|
