It doesn't matter whether I vote for Nader or Bush. Either one will have the desired effect -- Gore will lose.
Fiscal conservative Ross Perot stole just enough votes from Bush Sr. to give Clinton the nod. Nader will have the same effect on Gore. More power to him. ------------------ Parker ChiefsPlanet Administrator Jimmy Raye for President...anything to get him out of Kansas City More Moreau |

Thanks for monitoring.
I will not count a second vote... nice try Luz. If anyone finds other double votes let me know. I will not count them. BTW.... when all the debates are over and the final vote is cast after the election I will review all of the votes for a final, "official vote count"... and then we will elect our Candidate for Chiefs Planet Prez. |

The main reason that I was voting for Gore was that he was for a woman's right to chose. But there is no way in good conscience that I can vote for Gore. He's a 2 faced, elitist liar. Bush and Chaney have several new programs and ideas that intrigue me. I wish they'd stay out of a woman's personal decision. But oh well. Change my vote to Bush.
PS - Pam, for a teacher you're not very well informed. For the record, the Democratic congress convinced Bush to raise taxes so that they would make other concessions. A president can't make new laws and raise taxes alone. |

I cast my vote for George W. Bush. I think it is a no-brainer. I am one of the few people I know who embraces gridlock. I say give me a heartless Republican President and a bleeding heart Congress and they will meet in the middle, all the while keeping a distrustful eye on each other.

Here's how my day started. Somehow the radio that wakes me had wandered to a morning call-in program. The moderator was metaphorically parading the bodies of four dead sailors whose bodies are still warm, and announced to his listeners that Al Gore is more concerned with the melting ice caps than these victims, while playing his personal favorite foreign policy quotes from George Bush in last nights debate. As long as the faithful, lunatic Right insist upon lobbing excrement such as this from the bottom of Rush Limbaugh's garbage can, I will never be able to take seriously their party's candidates, no matter their qualifications. And that is a shame.

Bush - How can anyone trust Gore. He tries to tell you what you want to hear even though it could be a flat-out lie. I guess he learned from the best, except he isn't near as smooth as Slick Willie.
Bush doesn't have all the answers and there are points I don't necessarily agree with, HOWEVER how can America go another 4 years with an administration that can lie to your face and smile while doing it. Gore talks about the school in Florida that had no room and a girl had to stand up in class. The room was full of $100K worth of equipment that hadn't been set up yet. Or the woman in Des Moines that picked up pop cans so she could go to the Convention. The Des Moines Register had a quote from her saying Gore's people paid her over a $1000 to come and show her face. I'm not saying Bush hasn't mislead the public on something but Gore (the inventor of the internet - by the way Thanks Al) is a poor choice. If you are naive enough to believe Al invented the internet I have some ocean front propery in Missouri to sell you. Go G.W.!!! |
