Yes, it's based on a true story. How much is actually true. Remember the Titans in real life didn't win the last game. There were alot of oversights in thatmovie too. Plus did I mention the "highschoolers" don't look so "high school-ish" Boobie(yes that his name) looks like hes 25.

Yes.........the real team from Remember the Tiatans did win the big game....they jsut didnt do it in the fashion portrayed in the movie...the movie made it seem more heroic than it actually was.

Well, my brother talked to a guy that was on the team. He said they lost. I guess he might not be telling the truth.

KingPriest, I wasn't saying the movie was totally inaccurate.
