Not too early to start rooting for the "other" sucky teams

My heart won't let me cheer for the chiefs to lose, even though my head says it might be the best thing for them in the long run.

but i can start cheering for the other stinky teams, so that if we dont make the playoffs we can still have a chance for the highest draft pick possible.

if carl is going to blow it... might as well have him blow it in big time style.

we have a legit shot at the 4th pick of the draft

At 9 I don't see Derrick Johnson or Antrel Rolle. Braylon Edwards is a possibility, as is Marlin Jackson. Antonio Perkins stock might drop where we could get him for a late first-early 2nd with some trades. Basically all of OU's defensive line will be in this draft as well.

IMO if we can't get Derrick Johnson or Antrelle Rolle we should get Braylon Edwards at that spot, or possibly trade down to get Mark Clayton, or Marlin Jackson. At 9, I would like to see this:

1. Braylon Edwards
2. Antonio Perkins

OR
1. Marlin Jackson
2. Mark Clayton

LB's are definately weak IMO...some good WR's and Cornerbacks, but overall not much.

Good point. I want the Chiefs to win, but if for some reason we don't make the playoffs, I'll be happy for all of the Washingtons and Tennessees of the world to sneak by us in the standings. It's humiliating, but necessary.

I think we're looking at 6-10.....is that, historically, a top 10 pick?

As long as San Diego takes the AFC West from The Broncos, I'm fine.
