I think if the administrators would quit pissing away all of our tax dollars there would be more than enough money to pay the teachers.
As for parents filling in, what's the worst that can happen? You had that teacher in NY (I think) who couldn't pass his recert test and paid a bum $20 to take it for him. He got caught because the bum did so much better on the test than he did it raised suspicion. In fact, the bum damn near aced the test that our illustrious teachers have a problem with. |

#1 it is stupid to reduce teacher salaries and expect quality education.
#2 What grades are we talking about here? Everyone who speaks English is probably qualified to teach K-3. 4th grade and above the curriculum becomes much more specific and inexperienced teachers would be more problematic. |

I don't see any pic.
Anyway, I don't think it probably matters too much who is doing the subbing if it's anything like when I was in H.S., the sub pretty much just handed out the busy work the teacher left for us or it would be study hall that hour. I don't recall them usually doing any teaching. $81 a day isn't going to get it done though, esp if you aren't working every day. |
