Utilities Question
My gas bill was outrageous this month. So I have a question. If I close the heating exchanges in the rooms I don't use very much, will that make my furnace work harder...thus make my bill higher?

I need some advice.

We had a really mild November so I don't see why your bill jumped 200%. I'd look into the cause of that. it could be just the times the meters were read.

That's what I thought too. I guess I should call them Monday. It sucks. I'm gonna have to get a side job to support my heater habit.

I'd sure call them about it. I once had them mixing up my meter with another one that was close by. When we unraveled it, they owed me $1000. Man did they hate to admit it.
