Packers | Stock hired to coach special teams

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports the Green Bay Packers have hired Mike Stock, a 42-year coaching veteran, to be their new special teams coach. Stock's last job in the NFL was in 2004 when he coached special teams for the St. Louis Rams.

Do some of these teams never watch football? Mike Stock is the only person who has ever shut down Dante Hall, and he did it while he was Dante's coach.

Seriously, why do these teams keep recycling failed coaches? It's inexplicable.

Just the fact that he has been coaching 42-freaking years and has never risen above special teams coach should tell you something.

I mean, special teams coach isn't exactly a fast track to head coach. At least not for 31 of the teams in the league.
