Wilt Chamberlin... Some of the sickest stats in sports history.
We all know about the 20,000 women and 100 point game, but did you know these?

Different time, different game. Those records could easily last forever.

Bill Russell and Wilt actually became very good friends. To the point where they would visit each other at the host player's home before a game. Russell even mentioned taking a nap in Wilt's bed before one game against him.
Russell describes Wilt as a complete physical freak. Ungodly strong, the tallest guy in the NBA, and pretty fast anyway. Just a man among boys on the basketball court. Russell has also said that Wilt's ONE failing was that he was too "nice" or "gentle". Wilt was so far beyond everyone else in physical ability, Russell thought he was afraid of hurting anyone. That probably help explaisn why he never fouled out even though he was a center and played all 48 minutes of nearly every game his whole career. In short, Russell thinks he lacked a "killer instinct". That's his one criticism. For basketball and overall physical skills, however, he was a man among boys.

Ya think....... ever heard of family fued ? Kinda like in laws, just because you don't visit doesn't mean you don't love them. Besides, he went there 3 years, freshmen were inelgible to play on varsity. Pro ball came calling and the $$$ was there for him.

He is still arguably the best player to ever played the game. I still put him at #2 whenever the discussion arises.
