Youboty is a stud CB and we definitely have a need there now.

It'll be hard to complain, but I really hope we don't pass on Hali for him.

I was impressed with Haralson in the Senior Bowl. Got off the line really fast and was pretty disruptive. However, I thought he was supposed to be one of those under-sized DEs that will convert to OLB in a 3-4?

Me too. He falls in the same category as Mark Anderson and Manny Lawson as far as I'm concerned, but those are all guys we've been rumored to be interested in.

I'm not a big fan of guys that small, but I suppose if we can get a Jason Taylor type DE, I could live with that.

Second round would be a reach for Haralson IMO.

I agree with that. I wouldn't be suprised if he slipped to the second day.

Yuck....

I'm not high on any of 'em:

1. Youboty CB
2. Haralson DE
3. Lewis DT

Reading their profiles, they sound like a possible second coming of William Bartee, R Kal Trulock, and Eric Downing.

Ashton Youboty

Height: 5-11 3/4 | Weight: 189 | 40-Time: 4.43

Official Bio

Strengths:
Has excellent size...A solid athlete...Displays good footwork and fluid hips to transition...Has good ball skills and solid hands for the interception...Physical and a solid tackler...Hails from a program with a strong record of producing top pro cornerbacks as of late...Smart player...Was tested in practice every day going up against Santonio Holmes and Ted Ginn...Still has a lot of upside and potential.

Weaknesses:
Has been known to give up the big play vertically...Inconsistent and will have periods where he looks lost...Still needs to bulk up a bit and get stronger...Lacks a lot of starting experience and is still a little rough around the edges...Will need coaching and development...Doesn't always play up to his talent and ability.

Notes:
Is of Liberian descent...The next great Buckeye cornerback following in the footsteps of guys like Antoine Winfield, Shawn Springs, Nate Clements and Chris Gamble...Would seem to have all the physical tools to be a #1 NFL cover man.

Sounds like the second coming of William Bartee to me....I realize Bartee was not a first rounder, but still.....

Unless Herm as HC makes THAT big of a difference, he'd be a reach at that point IMO.

Have you seen Youboty play?

I'm not somebody who wants to draft a CB that high myself, but the guy is a shutdown CB in every sense of the word.
