I may be a silly little white kid, but I was really into 2Pac. I really liked every album of his (except for the first one). I even liked the 15 or so post-mortem "let's cut a song for every unused lyric track" albums

Ice Cube's "It Was a Good Day" is one of the greatest pieces of art from the last quarter of the 20th century.

For me, it's a lot of fun going to the iTunes Music Store and looking at the top 100 charts they have for each year dating way back. It's fun going back to my high school and college years and seeing what was popular back then. A ton of one hit wonders...

OutKast, Dr Dre, Snoop Doog, Wu Tang (forever double cd), As mentioned before... Redman, Rass Kass, Brotha Lynch Hung ( as sick as he is... I was into him then), The Roots (Illadelph Life), Ice Cubes death certificate, Mos Def (Black on Both Sides), Jay Z's (In my lifetime Vol I, II, & III, Roc La Familia). Who can forget about the best of all time... ALL 3 BIGGIES cd were classics, Master P (Ice Cream Man cd), TRU was big then also.
I can't think of anymore but I'm sure I'm missing something. Last edited by wutamess; 06-26-2006 at 01:31 PM.. |
