The OFFICIAL LT>LJ THREAD

As a public service to some of you ignorant Chiefs fans I have decided to update you weekly with the greatness that is LaDanian Tomlinson.

LaDanian Tomlinson is only half a year older than Larry Johnson but while Larry Johnson was whining and pouting because his white Super Bowl winning coach couldnt couldnt relate to him LT was busy putting up awesome years behind a weak Chargers offensive line.

LT is, was, and will always be a better RB than LJ

Tomlinson

Trick question: LT can thow, LJ is unproven in that regard. LT comes in at QB and throws the game-winner.

I'd kneel on it. Your QB obviously won't be able to play the next week. No way you can win with a back up.

Signed,

All the post-week 1 "Our season is over, we're playing for the No. 1 draft pick, Damon Huard fucking sucks" doubters.

Bad example.

Warner's skills didn't decline.

He was a flash in the pan.

QBs usually can play at a high level into the mid 30s.

His "skills" started to decline at the same time that Marshall Faulk started to decline physically.

The effectiveness of one back over the other is greatly contingent upon the play of ones offensive line as it pertains to their effectiveness against the opposition’s defensive line.

That is all.

Well both SD and KC fans are in fantasy land here. No one even answer the question for the amount of yards and TD's they have scored equal how many playoff wins?

One less playoff win than the Donks have had since Smellway retired. And that one win was a gift from the refs.

I wouldn't call 5 turnovers gifts from the refs.

I can't recall specifics, but I do remember thinking at the time that New England got jobbed by the refs in that game.

The point is though, you shouldn't be throwing around "playoff win" smack when Shanarat has gone from "Offensive Mastermind" to "Playoff flop" now that Elway is no longer accepting payments under the table.

It's a dumbass question.

Football is a team sport.
Walter Payton, aguably one of the top three RBs all time didn't win a SB until he was on the downside of his career, because the team he played for pretty much sucked throughout most of his career.

Eric Dickerson never won one.

Refs arguement is weak, only time it could apply is if you played a perfect game and lost which could never happen. If you score everytime, stop other team, no penalties, no turnovers, if you didn't do that throw the ref excuse out. Besides the pats were the help with one the biggest blow call in history tuck rule. Even Brady thought game was over because it was a fumble, but I laughed because it was faders.

Keep on ignoring the actual point of my post.

Dungver has ONE more playoff win than KC/SD since Elway retired.

IMO, there is no debate that Romo deserves the MVP.

He has done what no other player has ever been able to achieve in years and years. He has single handedly gotten Terrell Owens to be quiet and move out of the limelight. He is a true American hero.

Johnson tuned out when Vermeil talked

Larry Johnson, appearing in a feature with Cris Carter on HBO’s “Inside the NFL” this week, makes it clear again that he really wasn’t all that interested in playing for Dick Vermeil.

“I wouldn’t pay attention,” Johnson said of playing under Vermeil. “My eyes, I would be up in the sky. You know, I would be sleeping in my locker. I wouldn’t carry my playbook because I was just trying to get away from this building, you know, when Dick was here.”

Carter asked LJ, “Do you think Herm Edwards, being an African-American and you being raised, of course, by an African-American, that you see a lot of similarities in Herm that you saw in your dad that made you open up to him?”

LJ’s response: “I think so. I could relate to Herman. I couldn’t do that with the other coaches I had because they had not done it. You know, they haven’t put those pads or they haven’t been in the situation as a young black athlete and know what we had to go through.

“You know, when we go out, you know, we like to go out. You know, we like to hang out. We like to have fun. But then you got to worry about the guy around the corner with the gun. You got to worry about this girl on the block. You got to worry about, you know, your parents. You got to worry about your homeboys taking advantage of you.

“There’s so much things you got to worry about being a young black athlete. And to be able to have a father like mine and have a coach like Herm, I was able to escape a lot of those realities and find myself in a new ray of light.”

------------------------------------------------

At least LJ would be winning the only willing to work with black coaches stat. You guys can hang your hat on that one.
