It's AWFUL to use. The MadCatz controllers have a serious design flaw in the trigger buttons. The original 360 controllers have a raised sheath that house the trigger buttons. The MadCatz controllers have no sheath, the trigger buttons are exposed kind of like a light switch. Why is this important? Because you can't set the MadCatz controller down. Setting it on any surface accidentally engages the trigger buttons. |

I have had much better luck scoring when I run the offense than just skating down as fast as possible, putting a deke on a defenseman and winding up the biggest slap shot possible, like used to be a winning strategy in the older hockey games, so the realism seems to be decent. A bit of realism is a nice surprise since it's EA. I've not played a hockey game in several years now though, so people who are more versed in them may have different opinions than I. |
