The Chiefs Got Me Twice Tonight
First, they played an awful game and lost. Second, they played just well enough that it looks like I lost in the first round of my FFL playoffs despite being the #1 seed.

Damnit Carl!




Of course having picked LaMont Jordan in the second round didn't help my team any.

You know, the more I contemplate this, the more it crystallizes that this was how it had to be.

The Chiefs are always middle of the road. They're not good enough to win, but don't suck so bad that other good things can happen.

My real problems were Desmond Clark & Laveranues Coles. Those two haven't done squat all season and blow up this weekend. Of course. Add to that not one of my 3 WRs finding the end zone and Ladell Betts' end zone allergy and you have the makings of a team playing for 3rd despite dominating his league all year.
