Master P's early records with "The Ghetto's trying to kill me and his first TRU album were ****ing badass. I still have them. 1992 and 1993 releases. After he got big, he sucked, but he has some classic that will forever be in my library no doubt.

Exactly, back in the day a store I worked for did an in-store with him and TRU when In-A-Minute records put the 1st 2 records out.

I would like to say that I whole-heartedly disagree with the inclusion of Mr. Will Smith. Summertime is one of the greatest tracks ever. Is he on the level of Outkast or the Sugar Hill Gang? No. But he sure as hell isn't on the level of Vanilla Ice and Shaquille.

Edit- wow, didn't even see 2 Live Crew. You can what you want about their lyrics, but their beats defined that "Miami bass sound."

I'm not sure I can speak to the rap rankings, but calling Body Count "rap-metal" means he's a f'in idiot.

My favorite thing about this list is that the author himself looks like a shitty indie rapper.

What's worse is that you can easily argue that more than half of that list is wrong even though most of those rappers are usually indefensible.

C) are not for me, because I find that cocaine aids my performance much more effectively. D) apparently worked for Rodney Harrison.
