What made him a bad rapper was when he started taking shots at KRS-One. You're gonna lose a lot of fans when you take shots at a hip hop legend who's been around since you were in diapers. So cultured hip-hop fans (which the list creator probably is) can't stand the arrogant asshole, while the suburban mainstream kids made him seem like a god.

So he's an asshole granted. But are we talking about rapping skills, personality or quality of songs? I personally thought the list was based on rapping skills. I don't think Nelly is that awful as far as skill goes. There are alot worse.

I agree he isn't the worst but I was just saying that probably had a lot to do with why he made the list. All these lists have a little bias in them. He's hated by a lot of people for his beef with KRS. I'm sure that solidified his place on the list.
