If so much of my life weren't consumed with thoughts of dipping Amanda Seyfried in honey, I'd have more smaque to throw your way

A friend of mine said that the live stage show of Mama Mia is the best show he's ever seen so I think I'm going to wait for the movie to come out on DVD and try to take my wife and kids to the live version somewhere before we watch the movie version.

My wife LOVES musicals, so I've been to quite a few the past few years. Some I've really enjoyed, others...not at all. I'd say it's a toss up between Mama Mia and Rent for my favorites, though the version of Rent we saw wasn't all that great.

I'm not really a very big fan of musicals, but I find that it helps me enjoy the show if I'm familiar with the music. I liked the movies Moulin Rouge and Across the Universe better than the Broadway version of Phantom of the Opera for example. I couldn't tell wtf they were singing about in Phantom.

I know I'm in trouble if I start hearing the music to Phantom, or Les Miz...
That means the wife has popped them into the Bose, is in a house cleaning mood, and it's gonna be a doozy. |
